Affordable Private Jet travel gets closer for discerning travelers to Mallorca
Earlier this year I surveyed a number of regular discerning travelers to Mallorca to ascertain their interest in a service that would bring private jet travel ‘within reach’ for them as an alternative to travelling on budget airlines by sharing a jet ( and the cost ) with other like minded travelers.
Most of those surveyed expressed a keen interest in the project and also identified a number of other routes that they would be interested in.
Given the level of interest I commissioned the development of a portal that will enable a network of members to
- Set up a proposed flight schedule and invite others to join
- Option an aircraft
- Search for an available seat on a flight booked by another member
- See how many members are ‘watching’ a flight
- Make an offer to buy a seat
- Suggest additional route pairs
- ‘Fare Share’ the cost of private air travel
All of this is designed to bring luxury and bespoke travel within reach for many more people without the commitment of buying block hours or having the cost of chartering their own plane every time they travel.
